Delete your CitizenOz account

For the CitizenOz app on iPhone and Android

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open CitizenOz and go to the You tab.
  2. Tap Account, then Delete account.
  3. Confirm. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more.

Your account is deleted immediately.

By email

  1. Email support@citizenoz.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject "Delete my account".
  2. If you chose Hide My Email with Sign in with Apple, include your relay address so we can find your account.
  3. We delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and confirm by email.

What's deleted

  • Your account: email address, name if you gave one, and account ID
  • Your synced study progress: answers, practice test results, saved questions, study days and test date
  • The purchase record linked to your account ID at our purchase provider, RevenueCat
  • If you used Sign in with Apple, the app's access to your Apple Account is revoked
  • When you delete from the app, the study data stored on that device

What's kept

  • Your CitizenOz Pro purchase belongs to your Apple or Google account, not your CitizenOz account, and can be restored any time. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a weekly plan: cancel it in your store subscriptions.
  • Residual copies in our encrypted database backups are overwritten within 30 days.
  • If you emailed us, we keep that conversation only as long as needed to handle your request.
